Sonia Warden

Sonia Warden

This self-professed “Rock and Roll Princess” whose free time is spent either on the links or at concerts, Sonia draws inspiration from the music, fashion, art and photography worlds. She has been working with hair for almost two decades, three-quarters of that time has been spent right here in Denver, and her experiences have helped her realize her zeal for color. Sonia’s obsession for highlights, multi-dimensional and tone-on-tone color techniques were perfected through advanced color classes at the Aveda Academy she attended in London. Her commitment to excellence and education in hair shows not only in her own ongoing training, but also in how she shares her own knowledge. Her talents have also been sought out for runway shows by such fashion industry greats as Richard Tyler, Vivienne Westwood and Gucci.

Leah Medina

She continues this passion by fulfilling her thirst for learning new techniques and shares it by passing along styling tip and tricks she leans to her clients. Leah taps her love of punk and indie music to inspire her signature updos, avant garde and scene hair styles, which includes creating high dimension blondes, brunettes and red heads by blending classic foiling techniques with color blocking. But don’t let this scare you, she knows a style is something to be lived in. In her own words. Leah creates “Low maintenance hair with high style.” Her work has been featured in print, on runways and on ABC news She also loves to share stories about her precious April Fool—her son born April First.

Hallie Adrian

Hallie Adrian

After playing three varsity sports in college, if Hallie wasn’t destined to eventually run her own salon, she most likely would have been a professional athlete. Instead she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in entrepreneurship from Ottawa University in 2008—incidentally the first woman to do so. She followed that with her Cosmetology Certification from the Aveda Institute in Denver in 2010. While studying cosmetology, she was a 2009 Edwin Neil Photo Competition finalist and worked as a stylist for the Metric Boom Fashion Show that same year. She continues to compete athletically, playing all over the country and world with the Denver Bulldogs and the US Freedom Australian Rules Football squads. But hair remains her true calling. “I like working with all aspects of hair (cut, color and styling). I am able to customize my color techniques to accentuate a haircut for each individual according to their desired look, lifestyle, and preferred maintenance. I am also known for my intricate braiding techniques." Hallie’s guilty pleasure though? “I love BIG hair.”

Robert Cook

Amber Northrop

Amber Northrop

Communication is Amber’s greatest tool for making clients happy. Through active listening and sharing her vast knowledge, she has created an almost cult following both here in Denver and in Minneapolis where she previously worked in the city’s top Aveda salon and where she graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2006. Amber blends her advanced cut and color knowledge to create each client’s perfect look. She learned her craft from such industry notables as Oscar Bond and David Stanko and stays current through regular, ongoing education. Amber freely shares her skills with new stylists as an instructor, a mentor and as their peer.
